Well, here goes, have now had my fourth therapy session. In total there should be 12 although Mr T (Therapist) says that this can be increased to 20 sessions should the need arise. And so far all 4 session were about "assessing" the needs of the patient. Boy oh boy, never realised quite how screwed up I was :) Good news is that although the 1st three session were incredibly painful and hard going the latest session was a bit easier and gives me hope that all is not lost and that there might be a sane mind at the end of it all. It is no nice to be able to express emotions that normally stay within one's own mind and body. So nice not to be judged. Quite complicated mind, as there is an awful lot to take in and quite philosophical as well as psychological. Luckily I love philosopy and I am beginning to understand a bit more how the mind works and how help is sometimes needed. With the amazing Mr T. and Mr GP (doctor) I have some hope for the future! More about CBT later once I discover more.
Now to exercice: with poorly daughter no exercice for 3 days :( however today I had my second session of Boxerice. Fellow dieters, and non dieters for that mattter: if you want to get fit: BOXERCISE. it is a killer of a sport but incredibly therapeutic and incredibly hard work. It works all the muscles in the body, and you are constantly on the move whether it be punching, receiving punch (on hand mitts, not on face thank goodness), running, doing sit ups.... no rest for the wicked as the saying goes. I am now stiff but elated that I lasted the whole hour. And of course I couldn't spoil it all so have had a nice healthy salad followed by greek yoghourt with 1 teaspoon of homemade low-in-sugar jam. yum yum.
will be back to serious blogging in the next few days.
Still to chicken to post current weight as too humiliating. Sorry!
A plus xx
