OK, not a super romantic choice but all of these are CBT based and seem to have good reviews. Wonder if anyone has every overdosed on CBT? Maybe I should ask Mr T as to the wisdom of all this reading before buying all these books...
Overcoming Your Child's Shyness and Social Anxiety - by Cathy Creswell
Overcoming Depression: A guide to recovery with a complete self-help programme - by Prof Paul Gilbert
Overcoming Low Self-Esteem - by Dr Melanie Fennell (Paperback)
Overcoming Social Anxiety & Shyness - by Gillian Butler (Paperback)
Overcoming Weight Problems - by Jeremy Gauntlett Gilbert and Clare Grace
I already have The Feeling Good Handbook by David Burns, need to start reading in once CBT sessions are over.
and I have also started to read How to Live: A Life of Montaigne in one question and twenty attempts at an answer by Sarah Bakewell .
A lot of reading. Thank goodness I will also read "normal" books including my beloved "44 Scotland Street" and "Nb 1 detective agency" ...
